Aug. 16" circular datestamp on Vermont & Boston Telegraph Line illustrated cover to Hanover N.H., depicting “slower” modes of communication in order of speed (including a turtle overtaking a locomotive), the telegraph represented by an electric bolt emanating from a disembodied hand writing with a quill, cover with some light staining spots not affecting stamp, otherwise Fine, this attractive design is very scarce used with adhesive stamps, 1997 P.F. certificate no longer accompanies
