Feb. 8" (1862) circular datestamp on back of folded letter to Port Louis, Mauritius, magenta manuscript "12" credit, red "London Paid" transit datestamp (February 21), bold red "4-1/2d" British Colonial credit handstamp, Mauritius (April 24) backstamps, right 12¢ stamp small tear at bottom, cover with some separations along top edge and light toning, still Very Fine and very rare 1861 Issue franking to the British Colony of Mauritius, prepaid for the 39¢ British Mail rate via Marseilles, ex Gallagher and "Sevenoaks"
