Extremely Fine. This remarkable cover with the Skull & Crossbones Type 2 fancy cancel is one of two recorded examples of this carving. The other, a 3¢ Pink entire, was offered in the 2017 auction of the "Erivan" collection. We have never offered an example of this cancel since keeping computerized records, and none was offered in the incomparable Houser auction.
