EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB USED EXAMPLE OF THE 1861 24-CENT BROWN LILAC WITH A FANCY CANCEL, GRADED XF-SUPERB 95 BY P.S.E.

With 2000 A.P.S. and 2006 P.S.E. certificates (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $3,250.00 for normal cancel). Only two grade higher (at 95J and 98, neither has a fancy cancel) and six others share this grade.
