May 1, 1862" circular datestamp on light yellow cover to Lynchburg Va. with blue Jefferson Davis Medallion, 7-Star Flags and 10-Star Sunburst Patriotic design (JD-1B), stamp defective and cover slightly reduced at left not affecting design, still a Fine appearing and excellent juxtaposition of the blue Davis stamp next to the blue Davis medallion
