Sep. 22, 1861" circular datestamp on "Morgan & Co.'s Importers and Dealers in Foreign and Domestic Dry Goods" illustrated building corner card cover to Shelbyville Tenn., a large and detailed depiction of 49 Public Square with horses and wagons on street, stamp has tiny sealed pre-use tear at lower right, cover has small stain at bottomFINE APPEARANCE. A RARE EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT VIOLET BROWN NASHVILLE PROVISIONAL USED ON AN ATTRACTIVE ILLUSTRATED BUILDING ADVERTISING COVER.
