Sale 1206, Lot 994, Confederate States: Postmasters' ProvisionalsCharlottesville Va., 5c and 10c Blue entires (127XU1-127XU2). Both with clear manuscript "WMK" control initials of postmaster William M. Keblinger, blue "PAID", "5", "10" and double-circle datestamps, 5c with partly clear Sep. 1861 date, 10c with Sep. 8, 1861 date, addressed to Richmond Va. and Newberry S.C. respectively, both covers with edge faults and the 10c with some slight staining, otherwise Fine, these are the only recorded examples of the Charlottesville Postmaster's Provisional entires, with 2000 C.S.A. certificates, listed but unpriced in Scott
