Danville Va. (Building No. 4). Small inner cover, a folded letter datelined "Danville Va. March the 21st 1864" to Waterboro O., "Old Point Comfort Va. Apr. 19" double-circle datestamp, "Due 3" straightline handstamp, letter is from a recently captured prisoner in the 18th Ohio Vol. Infantry requesting supplies and asking that they be directed to Danville Prison No. 4, Very Fine, rare with only five recorded in Harrison book from this prison, ex Walske, illustrated in Harrison on p. 74
