Feb. 1862" circular datestamp on lady's small cover to Alabama, very slightly reduced at left (not noted on certificate), Extremely Fine, a lovely cover and a scarce use of the 10c Hoyer & Ludwig from Norfolk, the city was occupied beginning on May 10, 1862, and was held by the Union for the duration of the War, so there was only approximately six months during which this stamp could be used there, ex Caspary, with 2017 P.F. certificate
