Dark color, showing clear scratched stone at bottom right (CC 5-v5), ample to large margins, on small piece (did not originate), stamp with light crease at top right, still Very Fine, a rare variety, ex Murphy and Hastings, most recent certificate (2013 C.S.A.) identifies stamp as No. 5 Deep Rose with scratched stone variety which did not originate on the piece (crease at upper right), also with 1998 P.F. certificate as Deep Rose and 1982 C.S.A. certificate as Carmine (5a)
