DESCRIPTION5¢ Red Brown (1), large margins, pre-printing paper fold, tied by red square grid cancel, matching “New-York Sep. 9” (circa 1848) circular datestamp ties Bouton’s City Dispatch Post, New York, N.Y., 2¢ Black on Gray Blue, Dots in Corners (18L2), two large margins, slightly in at right and bottom, also tied by “PAID/BOUTON” two-line handstamp, second strike at top center of rebacked front to New Rochelle, N.Y.
