VERY FINE. AN EXTREMELY RARE MINT NEVER-HINGED WIDE TOP PLATE BLOCK CONTANING AN EXAMPLE OF THE SCARCE 11-CENT PERF 10 AT BOTTOM VARIETY.

Our records contain only five plate blocks with this variety. We are aware of only two others with wide top selvage, offered in the "Sirron" Collection (Siegel Sale 1001, lot 2077, off-center) and our Zoellner sale (Siegel Sale 804, lot 679). Only the Zoellner block is Mint N.H.
