FINE. A RARE PLATE BLOCK OF THE 50-CENT PERF 12 WITH SINGLE-LINE WATERMARK.

As a measure of rarity, the Wampler collection had a hinged top plate block, and the Fogelson collection did not have a Scott 421 plate block (both Shreves sales). Our sale of the MLG collection also did not contain one.
