With 2017 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100; unpriced in SMQ above the grade of 98, SMQ $1,750.00 as 98). This is the highest grade awarded to a used 5c Pan-American and it is the only example to achieve this grade. The next highest is a single example graded 98. In fact, the only other Pan-American which has been graded Gem 100 in used condition by P.S.E. is the 2c, with two examples.
