Tied by three-ring target cancel, red "Honolulu U.S. Postage Paid Jan. 22" (1867) circular datestamp on orange cover to Richmond Indiana, used with United States 5c Brown (76) tied to Hawaiian stamp by cogwheel cancel, "San Francisco Cal. Feb. 15" double-circle datestamp, with original enclosure, Very Fine and colorful mixed franking, carried on the American brig Hesperian from Honolulu on Jan. 22, 1867, arriving San Francisco Feb 15, with 1978 H.P.S. certificate
