HAWAII, 1866, 5c Blue (32). Tied by Honolulu 7-bar open grid, used with U.S. 10c Green (68), tied by circular cork cancel, first stamp tied by red "Honolulu U.S. Postage Paid Jul. 22" (1868) circular datestamp on cover to Ovid N.Y., neat strike of red oval "Hawaiian Steam Service" handstamp, "San Francisco Cal. Aug. 6" circular datestamp, cover with sealed tear at top and missing part of top flap, 10c stamp with faults from placement at edge of cover, otherwise Very Fine and scarce mixed franking with the Hawaiian Steam Service marking, carried on a contract sailing of the Montana, departing Honolulu on July 22, 1868, and arriving in San Francisco on August 5, with 1956 P.F. certificate
