1871, $2.00 Red Brown, 1hhd., Beer (REA29; Priester 30A). Large margins to full, cancelled by neat strike of blue "D. Jones, Sixth St. Bet. Ave. B & C, Oct. 21, 1872" double-circle datestamp, light crease, some soiling, still Very Fine and attractive example of this issue used at David Jones Brewery in New York, at the time of his death in 1881 Jones was one of the largest brewers in the country, ex "Scarsdale"
