1870, 50c Brick Red, Gray-Green and Yellow Security Lines, -1/2bbl., Beer (REA17b; Priester 18C). Unused (no gum), large margins to in, deep rich colors, light vertical creases, small corner creases at bottom left and bottom rightFINE APPEARANCE. A RARE EXAMPLE OF THE 1870 HALF-BARREL BEER STAMP WITH GRAY-GREEN AND YELLOW SECURITY LINES. ONLY FOUR ARE RECORDED IN THE PRIESTER CENSUS.
