Jenkins' Camden Dispatch, Camden N.J., (unstated value) Black, Lithographed, Fine Impression (89L1). Margins to touched, used with 3c Dull Red, Ty. II (11A), tied by partly clear strike of Camden N.J. circular datestamp on cover to Providence R.I., original enclosure from Camden dated Feb. 27, 1855, missing backflap and minor cover nicks, appears Very Fine, one of only about a dozen covers recorded with the Jenkins' Dispatch 89L1 issue, and only a few are to-the-mails uses with U.S. postage (two others listed in Power Search), an overview of the post and different stamp printings is provided in the description of lot 1273 in our Golden sale (Sale 817).
