Bottom imprint and plate no. 22 block of twelve, original gum, large margins to clear at right, deep color, a few small thin specks and a couple trivial surface scuffs probably caused by sheet stacking, small scissor cut between stamps at right, faint toned band at bottom right

VERY FINE APPEARANCE. ONE OF TWO KNOWN PLATE BLOCKS OF THE 1890 15-CENT INDIGO IMPERFORATE.

The other example (which had a repair) was offered in our 2015 sale of the Robert R. Hall Collection and is the basis for the Scott Catalogue value.
