Sep. 14" circular datestamp with "Due 3" straightline on cover to Alexandria O., soldier's endorsement at top, few minor edge nicks, Very Fine, an extremely rare postally-used example of this anti-Southern Civil War design, a Google search turned up several variations on this design, but nearly all examples printed on envelopes are unused
