2c Black (73). Tied by bold strike of "paint red" Maltese Cross cancel, matching "New York City Nov. 2" circular datestamp on blue 1866 folded letter datelined Paris, France and addressed to New York, Sussfeld Lorsch & Co. double oval handstamp, carried outside of the mails to New York where it was put in the mails for a post office box, small edge tear and slight discoloration at left from cleaning, still Fine and very scarce use of a Black Jack originating outside of the United States, ex Hahn, with 1992 P.F. certificate
