Folded letter datelined "Canton 26 March 1852" and addressed to New York, manuscript "5/5" and "98" both crossed out and uprated to "140", "Hong Kong 29 MR 1852" and London (May 10) backstamps, endorsed "via Marseilles", small extraneous blue ink mark, Very Fine and unusual, the original 5sh 5p rating applied in Hong Kong was changed to 98c in London then changed again to $1.40 on arrival in New York, with 1996 Holcombe certificate
