10c Green, Ty. I (31). Large part original gum, rich color, stitch watermark at top, perfs scissors-separated at bottom but intact, small thin at lower left, few short perfs at leftFINE APPEARANCE. A RARE ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 1857 10-CENT TYPE I, WHICH CLEARLY SHOWS THE TYPE CHARACTERISTICS.
The scarcer types of the perforated 10c 1857 are rarely found with original gum. Offered to the market for the first time since 1970 (Siegel Sale 366). With 1950 and 2017 P.F. certificates
