10c Green, Ty. I (13). Unused (no gum), huge margins to barely touched at bottom left, rich color on bright paperVERY FINE. A RARE UNUSED EXAMPLE OF THE 1855 10-CENT TYPE I.
10c 1855-57 Type I stamps come from the bottom 20 positions of the plate, and they are the only stamps to show the complete right shell and nearly complete left shell. For some reason the sheet margin at bottom was often trimmed away.
