24c Carmine Rose & Blue, 1918 Air Post, Grounded Plane Variety (C3 var). Single hinge mark, centered to top right, exceptionally dark colors, very pronounced shift with the plane's wheels extending below the mid-point of "Cents", reperfed at right (formerly a straight-edge position), Fine appearing and very rare with this dramatic shift, as the Price collection demonstrates, the Grounded Plane stamps are found with a range of shifts, this is one of the lowest planes we have encountered, with 1985 P.F. certificate
