Position 57L1L, recut once at top and bottom, large margins showing part of adjoining stamp at top, intense shade and early impression, tied by grid cancel on folded letter datelined Hampden Me. Oct. 29, 1854, threatening a local doctor with publication of "certain correspondence" if he does not leave town in fourteen days, closes "The terms may seem hard to you, but they are light compared with your devilish villany towards a lady of this town", anonymously signed "A Friend to Justice", Extremely Fine, a beautiful stamp on a great "Hell Hath No Fury" letter, ex Vogel and Bailar
