Plate 2, full margins to clear, tied by "Boston Paid 4 Sep." circular datestamp on printed Prices Current from England to Salem Mass., dated "London, Friday 22nd August 1856" and with "PERSIA" (Cunard steamer) printed at top left, fresh and Very Fine, carried outside of the mails on the Cunarder Persia which departed Liverpool Aug. 23, 1856 and arrived New York Sep. 3, the 1c stamp paid the domestic circular rate, with 2003 P.F. certificate
