Position 27R3, large margins to just in at right including part of adjoining stamp at top, tied by "STEAM" straightline handstamp on blue folded letter with 1852 docketing to Pittsburgh Pa., "STEAMBOAT SOUTHERN BELLE" in oval name-of-boat handstamp, neat "Louisville Ky. 12 May" circular datestamp, red crayon "Due 5", vertical file fold affects stamp, cover with sealed tear at bottom, otherwise Fine, from Siegel Sale 417 (Sept. 26, 1972) where described as probably picked up en route to Louisville where put in post office for Pittsburgh where postage deficiency charged
