1c Blue, Ty. IV (9). Plate 1L, large margins to just touched, bright color, tied by "Savannah Ga. Paid" handstamp on folded printed Prices Current dated Dec. 22, 1854 to South Berwick Me., Very Fine, the "Paid" was a part of the Savannah marking, the 2c ship fee was collected in cash, the circular was then delivered to the ship by the P.O. to be sent to New York and the captain was paid the collected ship fee, ex Caspary, Cipolla and Wagshal
