Carefully divided into four corners and the vignette, the corners placed on the corresponding corners of the cover and the vignette placed at top center, each tied by "Danbury Ct. Mar. 14" circular datestamp on buff cover to New York, 1856 docketing on back, corners with few small flaws, Very Fine and very unusual, the five pieces were apparently accepted as prepayment for postage
