EXTREMELY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 1870 2-CENT I GRILL. A SCARCE STAMP WITH ORIGINAL GUM IN ANY CONDITION AND A GREAT RARITY IN THIS PRISTINE CONDITION.

With 2016 P.F. certificate (XF 90). This is the highest grade awarded by the Philatelic Foundation to a 2c I Grill and it is shared by no others. By way of comparison, P.S.E. has also graded only one original gum stamp XF 90
