15c Brown & Blue, Ty. II (119). Rich colors, proof-like impressions, couple tiny toned spots, tied by segmented cork with clear strike of "Middleborough Mass. May 25" circular datestamp, stamp also tied by red "Boston Paid All Direct" transit datestamp on cover to Constantinople, Turkey, red crayon "5" credit, German red framed "Weiterfr. 2 Sgr" accounting handstamp restating credit in silbergroschen, red Bremen transit backstamp (Jun. 9, 1870), receiving backstamp, trivial opening tears along top (clear of stamp)VERY FINE. ONE OF ONLY SIX RECORDED 15-CENT 1869 COVERS TO TURKEY. AN OUTSTANDING FOREIGN MAIL USE.
