Ruthfuchs, a well-known 19th Century stamp dealer in Washington D.C., purple New York Sep. 27, 1886 registry datestamp and number, receiving backstampEXTREMELY FINE STAMP AND COVER. ONE OF FOUR RECORDED 15-CENT 1869 PICTORIAL RE-ISSUE COVERS.
All four were mailed by stamp dealers in the 1880's. This is the latest use.
