12c Green (117). Block of four, original gum, unusually choice centering for a block of this 1869 Pictorial Issue, rich color and very freshVERY FINE. THIS ORIGINAL-GUM BLOCK IS ONE OF THE BEST CENTERED MULTIPLES OF THE 12-CENT 1869 PICTORIAL ISSUE WE HAVE ENCOUNTERED.
There are several original-gum blocks of the 12c 1869 Pictorial, ranging in size from four to nine stamps. Nearly all of the unused blocks are more or less off center. This well-centered block is one of the most attractive of all 12c 1869 multiples.
