(Scott 71-77)5c Red Brown, 10c Green (68, 75). 5c choice centering, both stamps have extraordinary color, the 5c is vivid fiery Red Brown, lightly cancelled by red grids, matching "N. York Brem. Pkt. 12 Paid Mar. 29" credit datestamp on bright buff cover addressed in blue to Darmstadt, Germany, blue "America/Uber Bremen/Franco" handstamp, manuscript "1" German rate, receiving backstamps, no yeardate, Extremely Fine, ex Moody and Caspary, in the 1956 Caspary sale the 5c stamp on this cover was was described as "a beautiful copy of excellent and very rare pronounced red brown color" and the cover realized $750 (!), to put that in perspective, in the same sale a 90c 1861 combination cover to China brought $1,000
