Jumbo margins, cancelled by perfect socked-on-the-nose Flower Petals fancy cancel of Alexandria Va., Extremely Fine Gem appearance, this famous stamp is pictured in the Brookman book and realized an astonishing $700 in 1960 -- unfortunately, we know more about reperfed straddle-pane margins now, and the right side of this stamp is reperfed, in our opinion
