Jan. 22, 1859" circular datestamp on blue folded cover to Nantes, France, sender's blue oval handstamp, red "New York Paid 12 Jan. 29" credit datestamp, French "12 Janv. 59" arrival datestamp with error in month (it should be "Fevr"), transit and receiving backstamps (Feb. 13-14, 1859), horizontal filing crease, Very Fine, an attractive transatlantic cover with a scarce 10c 1857 combination strip containing Type I, signed Ashbrook
