Serial no. 536092, radiant color on fresh paper, perfectly centered with nicely balanced margins, neat "2-24-41 Crawford" manuscript cancel, faint horizontal creaseEXTREMELY FINE. EASILY AMONG THE FINEST OF THE FEW KNOWN EXAMPLES OF THIS RARITY. A BEAUTIFUL STAMP.
With 1981 P.F. certificate. Mr. Curtis reported only two examples of this great rarity. The other was offered in our 2001 Rarities sale. There was none in the Cunliffe, Joyce, Lilly, Lyons, Turner and Weill sales.
