III (26) on 1861 folded cover to Bordeaux, France, No. 37 tied by small New York circular grid on 1861 cover to Manchester, England, 12c stamp creased from file fold, both covers with some minor edge wear, Fine appearance, latter signed by Ashbrook who notes that the New York small black grid is unusual
