1c Blue, Ty. IV, Recut Study (9). Eight single stamps and one pair mounted on an exhibit page, showing each of the seven recut varieties on Plate 1L plus the single position that was not recut (4R1L, Scott No. 7), one stamp unused (no gum), the others used with handstamp cancels including one red carrier cancel, both of the recut twice at top and bottom positions represented, the recut at bottom only stamp is Position 5R1L (with double transfer), formerly a Type Ib position on the early state of the plate, nice margins, most with an emphasis on top and bottom in order to easily see the recuts, a small flaw or two, Fine-Very Fine, a nice study, P.F. certificate for Position 5R1L accompanies
