Beautifully centered with wide margins, vivid color, neat cancel, Extremely Fine example of this overlooked watermark variety, with 2015 P.S.E. certificate (XF 90; SMQ $150.00), we do not know why this issue is priced at only 1.5x the normal Horizontal Watermark issue in SMQ, as there are far more stamps of Scott 283 that grade 90 or better than of Scott 283a
