5c Brown (29). Original gum, lightly hinged, unusually dark shade and detailed impressionFRESH AND FINE ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 1859 5-CENT BROWN TYPE I.
This is most definitely the 1859 printing in Brown, but the shade of this stamp is distinctly darker than most examples of Scott 29 we have encountered.
