VERY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL AND VERY RARE MINT NEVER-HINGED LARGE FORMAT TOP PLATE BLOCK OF THE 1898 6-CENT WATERMARKED BUREAU ISSUE..

This piece comes from an old-time collection and was most likely acquired by the previous owner through purchases at post offices in the 1890's and early 1900's. As such it has been kept out of the light since 1898 and has never before appeared at auction. Power Search located only one other Mint N.H. plate block of this issue.
