6c Dull Pink, 7c Vermilion, 12c Blackish Violet (149, 159, 162). Each stamp used separately on a short-paid cover to Switzerland, all three are yellow or buff covers to various places, each has "New York Via England & Ostend" transit datestamp (in black), "Via Ostende" and "Insufficiently Paid" straightlines, deficient postage for 10c Swiss Closed Mail rate expressed in centimes in blue crayon and postage due marked in red crayon, 7c No. 149 underpaid 3c, 6c No.159 underpaid 4c, 12c No. 162 underpaid 8c (double rate), last is missing top flap, otherwise Very Fine, a spectacular trio of covers showing the difficulty Swiss immigrants experienced in correctly prepaying the postage on mail to their homeland
