Oct. 21" (1873) circular datestamp on cover to Rome, Italy, sender's routing "North German Direct" but sent Italian Closed Mail via England, red "New York Paid All Br. Transit Oct. 22" transit datestamp, Verona and receiving backstamps, stamps with few small faults from placement near edge of cover, otherwise Fine, very scarce combination for double 10c Italian Closed Mail rate
