15c Brown & Blue, Ty. I (118). Bright colors, used with 1c Buff (112) and 3c Ultramarine (114), cancelled by circle of wedges, "Gloucester Mass. Jan. 10?" circular datestamp on 1870 folded letter to Genoa, Italy, red "Verviers Coeln Franco" transit datestamp, "P.D." handstamp, blue crayon "f 1-1/2" (sgr.) for credit beyond North German Union, transit and receiving backstamps, 1c and 15c slightly affected from placement near edge of cover, still Very Fine and colorful franking paying the 19c rate by North German Union Closed Mail via England, possibly carried on the Guion line's Minnesota, one of 10 recorded 15c Ty. I covers to Italy, ex Dr. Heimburger, with clear 1988 P.F. certificate
