1c Blue, Ty. IV (9). Two covers, first Positions 95-96L1L, horizontal pair, large even margins, used with 3c Dull Red Ty. II (11A), all stamps tied by "New Orleans La. May 6" circular datestamp on 1856 folded letter to Paris, France, minor cover edge wear and couple small flaws at top of stamps, still Very Fine, second Positions 23-24R1L, horizontal pair, each recut once at top and twice at bottom, used with 3c Dull Red, Ty. II (11A) tied by blue "Louisville Ky. May 24" circular datestamps on 1855 folded letter to Switzerland, 1c also tied by red French transit, 3c light crease, 1c pair light toned spot, still Very Fine, scarce use from Kentucky to Switzerland, both ex Wagshal
