Tied by purple "Waimea Kauai" rimmed double-circle handstamp struck three times on registered cover to San Francisco, red "Honolulu Hawaii Aug. 21, 1897" double-circle datestamp and matching registry markings, reverse with two different San Francisco registry datestamps (double-circle and large rimmed oval Station D) and large name handstamp for O. I. Blackstad, "Butcher", opened to show both sides, Fine, ex Honolulu Advertiser
