10c Green, Ty. I (31). Horizontal strip of three, choice centering with wide-spaced perforations providing ample room for the Type I characteristics, tied by light strikes of "New Orleans La. Dec. 16" circular datestamp on blue 1859 folded letter to Nantes, France, red New York 24c credit datestamp also ties strip, stamps with faint overall even toning, otherwise Very Fine, scarce and attractive use of a strip of three of the 10c Type I perforated issue, signed Ashbrook, with 1990 P.F. certificate
